Book of Etiquette
I love this book so much! I mostly bought it for the illustrations. It is from 1882. (A different time of history – for sure.) Some of the advice, especially on things like skincare, is entertaining! Some of the words of etiquette rules I break regularly. (I often sit crosslegged in my chair.) But much of the book is filled with valuable tips on politeness. Reminders our current society could put into practice.

My daughter pointed out how the images celebrate friendship and the close bond between women. Pure. Considerate.

This advice is hysterical! "Bad dinners go hand in hand with total depravity."
