Cabinet with Green Lovelies
This metal cabinet was a Facebook Marketplace find. The owner said it belonged to his dad and it was a military locker. It reminds me of a lawyer’s cabinet. I love how the black makes the contents stand-out. It’s filled with vintage lovelies in shades of green, cream, and white – with hints of brass and silver. The tray hanging above it is a papier-mache painted tray that I found for only $8 at an estate sale auction.
While the turquoise jars are not part of the overall color scheme in the cabinets, I love how the light from the window catches in the glass bringing an airy feeling to the space.
One of my favorite things in this cabinet is my vintage Huntington Botanical Gardens book. I absolutely love visiting these gardens. There is so much inspiration to be found there.
