Teapot Craft
For my church tea party I wanted to make something that would adorn the table and connect to the theme of “words.” (You can see more from the Blog under “Tea Party.”)
This lovely teapot belonged to my beautiful Scottish great grandmother. She and her sister saved up to splurge on the set when they moved from Canada to California. My great grandmother wanted to live out her “flapper” dream. She had dreams AND elegant afternoon tea!
The teapot craft went home with the tea party guests as a parting gift.
Directions:
1. Find an inspirational teapot and take a photo.
2. Edit with photoshop to create an outline.
3. Print the outline on dictionary paper.
4. Glue the dictionary paper to a cardstock background.
5. Cut out with fine sharp scissors.
6. Embellish with a bit of pink marker.
7. Optional: type an inspiring message that correlates with the theme to glue on the back of the teapot.
