Benches Redone
Don’t shy away from a project when the outcome is worth the effort. Thankfully oven cleaner comes to the rescue again and again when it comes to removing old stain from vintage wood furniture. I found a pair of benches on Facebook Marketplace that needed a new life. Mission accomplished!
The benches were covered in old reddish stain. Also – there was concrete powder (from a messy project of the previous owners) that solidified and needed to be scraped off. I got a work-out!
After removing the stain with oven cleaner and applying a new stain, the benches were ready for their new home!
