Bathroom Redo

Our powder room was lacking personality. So I painted it my favorite color – green! I layered in lots of vintage lovelies. Now it feels rich and storied – like it was always meant to be.

This is the bathroom before vintage tiles were added. Lovely. But could it be more?

To the rescue – vintage green tiles that I scored at an estate sale years prior. In the video below it shows what I used to adhere them to the wall. Now I don’t have to worry about water splashing from the sink onto the painted wall. Beauty + function.

Let’s list the vintage items used:

– Vintage Italian mirror nearly 300 years old!

-Vintage rug

-Vintage oil painting and prints from France and Spain

– Vintage Chinese stool

-Vintage brass dish, decor, and candle sticks

-Vintage brass framed sketch from Italy

-Vintage Spanish style tiles

-Vintage hand-held mirror

-Vintage abalone shell

-Vintage garden urn and silver tray beneath

-Vintage shelf painted green

-Vintage English floral china dish

-Vintage embroidered towel

Seriously – its funny to me to list all of this!!! But it makes me oh so happy to see all of this melding together from different parts of the world!
