Vintage Newspaper
These newspaper clippings were carefully collected and saved by my great-grandma. I took photos of the clippings to keep for inspiration. I just love the glamorous sketches and the slightly naughty humor!
Dancing Divas
This little lady on the left needed to be featured in a poster. It took me awhile to decide what caption should be on the art with her. I tried several sayings until I found what worked with the expression on her lovely face.
The American artist, Juanita Hamel, created illustrations for newspapers during the 1910’s and 1920’s. At one point in her career, 250 newspapers printed her sketches.
