Church Tea
Every spring my church hosts a large tea party for the women. For the past couple of years I have signed up as a “table host.” This means getting to the church early and setting up all the necessary teacups and decor. It is a chance to be creative. I tend to be pretty mild with my decor, while some ladies go all in.
Table Inspiration
I have been focused on specific color schemes for my tables. (Maybe next year I will mix it up!) I have my pink, green, and blue table. Each table has placemats I made from dictionary paper and concentrated watercolor that I dredged the paper in. Then I used my handy dandy laminator.
For the blue table I wanted to add a garden element. So I placed flower seeds around the table and a group of herbs in the center.
For the pink and green tables I used vintage glass cruets for individual flower bouquets at each place setting.
