In this chapter of John, Jesus reassures His disciples that when He goes away, the Holy Spirit will come to guide us and speak on His behalf. During a recent Bible study, I learned more about the Holy Spirit and the unique way He communicates with us. It was impressed upon me to be more aware of His presence in my life and to intentionally ask for His guidance.

I’m especially moved by the fact that the Holy Spirit represents Truth itself. This powerful word has lost much of its Biblical weight in today’s culture. Yet, I am deeply grateful that as I seek Jesus and study Scripture, I am also seeking truth in its purest form.
